Parts Sales Pro
Are you passionate about customer service and have a knack for automotive parts? We are seeking a friendly and knowledgeable Parts Sales Pro to join our United Bus Sales team at our Auto Value parts store in Big Lake, MN.
This customer-facing role is focused on delivering exceptional service, assisting with parts selection, and supporting retail operations. Your primary focus will be helping customers find the right parts, processing transactions, and maintaining a welcoming store environment.
What You’ll Do
Engage Customers:
Greet customers warmly, listen to their needs, and provide expert guidance on automotive parts and accessories.
Process Sales:
Operate the POS system to complete transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle returns and exchanges professionally.
Support Inventory:
Assist with stocking shelves, organizing displays, and checking inventory levels to ensure product availability.
Technical Knowledge & Product Expertise
Stay current on automotive parts, systems, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.
Collaborate with Team:
Work closely with store leadership and team members to maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly environment.
Build Relationships:
Develop rapport with repeat customers and commercial clients, offering consistent and reliable service.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all safety protocols for handling automotive parts, equipment, and hazardous materials.

What We’re Looking For
Experience in retail or automotive parts sales preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and parts
Comfortable using POS systems and inventory software
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to pass a post-offer background check and drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a fast-paced retail environment
Familiarity with commercial fleet accounts or B2B sales
Schedule Requirements
Full-time & Part-time available
Flexibility for weekends, seasonal demands, and inventory support
Travel Requirements
Minimal travel
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift and move inventory up to 50 pounds.
• Extended standing and walking throughout shift.
• Ability to work in a retail environment with varying temperatures.
• Manual dexterity for parts handling and computer operation.
Total Compensation
$18-$24 hourly
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will depend on experience, location, education, and skills, and will be agreed upon during the offer process.
